Hello town of South Windsor! My name is Alexa and I am a volunteer for the Buy Nothing Project South Windsor. We recently started a hyper-local gift exchange in our town, and are seeking out people who want to be a part of our community group. What’s it all about? Well... it’s “Buy Nothing” so we use Facebook as a platform to connect neighbors to each other, by sharing, borrowing, or gifting items or services to each other. Think about the “hey neighbor can I borrow a cup of sugar?” That’s the theory, and then some! We are not only helping our hyper-local community, but we are keeping things out of the trash, and connecting neighbors with each other.
