Cusson Automotive Celebrates 20 Years of Doing Business in South Windsor
Celebration and ribbon cutting held Friday.

About 150 people joined Cusson Automotive on Friday to celebrate the automotive care business’ 20 years in South Windsor.
Owner Don Cusson said the event went well as he reflected on his two decades in town.
“We started from scratch with just employees,” Cusson said. “Now we have 12. I never thought we’d be the size we are now. It’s just grown and we will grow again.”

Cusson said the secret is that he and his employees have always been fair to the customers and the business stands behind the work it does.
Cusson Automotive has also succeeded by branching out and doing work on cars, ambulances, trucks, motorcycles and motor homes.

“We try to think outside the box and doing different services in the garage,” he said.
In addition to a ribbon cutting with the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Cusson also had a fundraiser for the South Windsor Food & Fuel Bank (raising over $700 and a pickup truck full of food). There were games, a free raffle and free battery condition tests and alignment checks.
