Our last day in China, in Shanghai, and we are off sightseeing to the Bund. The famous waterfront, regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. There is also an optional tour to ride the Mag-lev Train, 7 minutes to travel what would take you 40 by car. Faster than the Bullet Train you may have heard of in Japan. Another tour you can enjoy is the ERA show, a multimedia odyssey, the combination of traditional Chinese acrobatic arts and modern technology. Back to the Bund. Amazing is the only word to describe the buildings along the waterfront. Even more beautiful a night! Each building was lit up like Christmas tree, full of color and even the boats on the water were outlined in lights. The flower beds along the Bund were like mosaics.
We spent several hours in the market buying bargains, well, you know they say everything is made in China. If you told them you wanted something, they would find it for you. Shoes to jackets, just name it!
