Man Faces DUI Charges after Two-Car Accident in South Windsor
The accident occurred at Chapel Road and John Fitch Boulevard.

A Norwich man faces drunk driving charges after being involved in a two-car accident Tuesday evening in South Windsor.
South Windsor police responded to the accident at Chapel Road and John Fitch Boulevard at about 5 p.m. on Jan. 20.
During the course of the investigation, officers suspected that one of the operators was under the influence of alcohol.

The man, Tod Johnston, was arrested following a series of roadside sobriety tests, according to police.
Johnston, 35, of 135 Starr St. in Norwich, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to obey control signal. Johnston was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 2.
