• 2 Hospitalized After South Windsor Two-Car Crash (patch.com) — South Windsor police say two people were hospitalized after a two-car crash on Ellington Road Wednesday morning, with one taken to St. Francis Hospital and the other to Hartford Hospital. The extent of their injuries is still unknown, but authorities reported no road closures following the incident, keeping traffic moving through the area.
   

• South Windsor is getting rid of its Flock cameras. Here's why. (ctpost.com) — South Windsor's Town Council has voted 6–3 to end its contract with Flock automated license plate readers, ordering all cameras removed within 60 days and collected data purged. After a public hearing where residents overwhelmingly opposed the system on privacy grounds, officials said they support local police but are unwilling to continue mass surveillance run by a private company.
   

• Crews battle condo fire in East Windsor, no injuries reported (wfsb.com) — Fire crews, including mutual aid from South Windsor, helped quickly knock down a condo fire in East Windsor's Broad Brook section Wednesday afternoon, with no injuries reported. Three attached units suffered smoke exposure and were ventilated for high carbon monoxide, while investigators continue to look into what caused the blaze and ask anyone with information to contact East Windsor police.
