Sephora to Open in South Windsor on June 29

The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk will have a new store on June 29, when Sephora, a cosmetics retailer, opens its doors.

The 4,000-square-foot space will mark the seventh location in Connecticut for Sephora, which also has stores in Greenwich, Trumbull, Farmington, Danbury, Canton and Uncasville.

The store will offer, among other things, beauty products for skin care, color, fragrance, body, smile care and hair care.

"We're beyond excited," said store director Maryann Janaskas-Pierce. "Sephora is such an amazing company. To be a part of Evergreen Walk to make it even more beautiful, what more can you ask for?"

According to its website, Sephora is a worldwide chain with 750 stores in 17 countries that was founded in France by Dominique Mandonnaud in 1970.

Sephora's newest store in Connecticut is at 200 Evergreen Way, Suite 264 in South Windsor. Its hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
