South Windsor Public Schools Have 90-Minute Delayed Opening
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect, and snow has made roads in town and throughout the area very slippery.
The superintendent's office has announced that South Windsor Public Schools will open 90 minutes late today, Thursday, Nov. 8.
Morning kindergarten and preschool is canceled today as well.
The snow that fell Wednesday and overnight from the nor'easter is expected to turn to rain later Thursday with high temperatures around 43°, according to AccuWeather.com. Light snow continued to fall early Thursday morning, and a winter weather advisory is forecast to remain in effect until 9 a.m.
