South Windsor Woman Charged with Giving Police False Information Regarding Car Crash
The accident occurred on Troy Road this past December.

A South Windsor woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly giving police false information following a motor vehicle accident this past December.
Caralyn Charette, 27, was arrested on a warrant for the incident that occurred on Troy Road. Police said that Charette identified herself as the operator of the car at the time of the accident.
The subsequent investigation found that another person had been operating the car at the time of the crash, according to police.

Charette was charged with interfering with an officer and falsely reporting an Incident. She was later released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
Charette is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on March 19.
