Standouts On Campus: Great Feats By South Windsor College Students

Delaware Valley University, Doylestown PA

• Gavin Yeich, a resident of South Windsor, was honored for academic achievement by being named to the Dean's List at Delaware Valley University for the fall 2023 semester.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Brandon Shover and Amanda Walsh, both of South Windsor, have been named to the fall 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College recognizes a number of Dean's List students from South Windsor for academic excellence for the 2023 fall semester. They are Evan Carlson, Jacob Chaimovitch, Justin Clark, Victoria DelRosso, Riley Donahue, Lyndsay Donston, Kelly Morson, Karly Suppicich and Samantha Van Horn. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

State University of New York, Potsdam NY

• Ryan Dunia of South Windsor was recently named to the President's List at the State University of New York at Potsdam. Dunia, whose major is music education, was among 809 students who were honored for academic excellence in the fall 2023 semester. To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Wheaton College, Norton MA

• First year student Rory Carchrie-Leigh of Broad Brook, formerly of South Windsor, was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of 2023. Students must earn a GPA of 3.5 and complete three courses to be considered for this honor. Rory's intended major is history.
