On Campus - Stafford, Willington College Students

STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Four local Springfield College students were named to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2018 term: Emma Halloran of Stafford Springs, studying Art Therapy; Laura Townsend of Willington, studying Health Science; Jennifer Jacobi of Willington, studying Psychology; and Shannon Stuart of Stafford Springs, studying Recreation Management. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Cortney Elizabeth Flenke of Stafford was named to the University of Alabama Dean's List for fall 2018. A total of 12,332 students enrolled during the 2018 fall term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
