STAFFORD, CT — A car came barreling out of a Stafford roundabout and wound up crashing into a stone wall last week, state police said.

According to a state police crash report, at about 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 21, a 2006 Ford Mustang being driven by a 54-year-old Southbridge, MA, man, was heading east on West Stafford Road and eventually entered the roundabout.

The Mustang continued east while exiting the roundabout but the driver lost control of the car and bashed into a Connecticut Department of Transportation sign, according to a crash report.

It then crashed into a stone wall at 104 West Stafford Road, according to a report.

The driver was not injured, sate police said.
