STAFFORD, CT — A 22-year-old Storrs man engaged in a session of vehicular pinball early Friday morning in Stafford, sate police said.

The crash took place at 1:36 p.m. on Bradway Road in Stafford.

According to a state police crash report, a 2015 Nissan Sentra was heading south at the time of the incident. The driver told state police that a bounding deer caused him to swerve right.

He went off the road, struck a concrete culvert and then continued 80 feet down the road, where he smashed into a utility pole, according to a crash report.

The driver was not injured, according got a report.
