Driver Airlifted After Serious Crash In Willington
State police have released a report in a serious crash in Willington.

WILLINGTON, CT — A car crashed into a field late last week in Willington and the driver had to be airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries, state police said.
The crash took place on Oct. 7, state police said.
At 11:34 that night, state police were called to an area near 61 River Road, where a 2018 Lexus driven by a 32-year-old Coventry woman had overturned in a field.

The car had careened down an embankment and hit a tree stump before flipping, according to a crash report.
The driver sustained life-threatening inures and was taken to Hartford Hospital via Life Star helicopter, state police said.
