I-84 Bridge Work Slated For Willington, Union
The Connecticut Department of Transportation has scheduled highway bridge work for northern Tolland County.

WILLINGTON, CT — Bridge Maintenance on Interstate 84 in Willington and Union, between Exit 69 and the Massachusetts state line, is set to begin over the weekend.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation said the overnight bridge maintenance project will be performed in Willington and Union during the overnight hours.
The $235,868 project consists of bridge joint repair on I-84 eastbound and westbound. The Work by Dynamic Surface Applications is to begin the night of Sept. 11 and run through the morning of Sept. 30.

LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect two lane closures on I-84 eastbound and westbound between exits 69 and the Massachusetts border in Willington and Union. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
