STAFFORD, CT — A busy roadway in Stafford is closed down amid Monday's chaotic rain/wind storm due to a tree down in wires.

According to the state Department of Transportation, Route 190 is closed at Stafford Street after a tree came down on utility lines nearby.

The incident was first reported at 5:57 a.m. and as of 10:02 a.m., it was still "unknown" when it would be cleared.
