• Emergency services updates & a new ambulance (staffordfreepress.com) — Stafford officials are weighing major changes to local emergency medical services as 911 call volumes surge and volunteer numbers drop, including more paid staff and possibly a unified fire-ambulance structure. At the same time, Stafford Ambulance is moving ahead with a lease-purchase for a new ambulance chassis to replace its failing 2013 unit, using a mix of town budgeting and revenue from Stafford Motor Speedway.
