WILLINGTON, CT — A school bus hit a utility pole in Willington last week, police said.

The crash took place at 4:24 p.m. The bus was traveling east on Daleville School Road and the driver attempted to make a left-hand turn and head south on Mason Road, according to a crash report. The bus "failed to maintain its lane" and collided with a pole, according to a crash report.

Eleven pre-teen students were aboard the bus and no injuries were we reported, state police said.

The bus was driven from the scene, state police said. The driver was also not hurt, according to a crash report.
