State Police Looking For 'Large motor Home' After Crash In Stafford

STAFFORD, CT — State police are looking for what is being described as a "large motor home" that was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Downtown Stafford last week. It hit a brand new parked car, state police said.

The incident took place at 3:31 p.n. on Oct. 15, according to a crash report.

State police said a 2022 Toyota Camry was parked and unoccupied about 1 mile west of the intersection of Main and Spring streets when it was hit by the motor home, which was traveling on Main Street and being towed.

Witnesses told state police that the motor home had Vermont plates.

It was last seen heading onto Interstate 84 westbound near Exit 70, state police said.
