3 Interim Administrative Appointments Announced By Stamford Public Schools

Stamford Public Schools has named three interim administrators for the 2026-27 school year.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Public Schools has announced three interim administrative appointments, effective immediately for the 2026-27 school year.

  • Oleg (Alec) Iogman has been appointed interim director of systems and student outcome data after serving as assistant director of technology integration and online assessment.
  • Jeanette Christian has been named interim assistant director of technology integration and online assessment after serving as teacher on special assignment for technology.
  • Adam Scianna has been appointed assistant director for pathways and career technical education after serving as teacher on special assignment for pathways and career technical education.

Iogman replaces Scott Clayton, who was appointed assistant superintendent for secondary by the Stamford Board of Education on Tuesday.

Christian will backfill Iogman's previous role, while Scianna will fill a vacancy created through a resignation.

"Alec, Jeannette, and Adam are dedicated educators who have proven themselves indispensable members of the Teaching & Learning Department," said Chief Academic Officer Amy Beldotti in an announcement. "Each of these individuals are universally respected by their peers, and I am excited for them to embark on these new opportunities for professional growth."

The district said Iogman and Christian have been instrumental in developing the District Technology Plan, implementing new technology platforms to support instruction and communication, providing professional development, and supporting one-to-one devices for students.

Scianna has supported the expansion of career and technical education pathways at Stamford High School and Westhill High School while overseeing the Early College Studies program at SHS. He also manages the federal Perkins V grant program that helps fund the career pathways initiatives, according to the district.

Alec Iogman, Director of Systems and Student Outcome Data

Iogman has worked in technology integration for SPS since 2021. He previously taught first, second and fifth grades at Westover Magnet School from 2005 to 2013, served as the school's administrative intern from 2015 to 2019, and was the district's curriculum associate for K-5 mathematics from 2013 to 2015 and curriculum associate for K-12 science during the 2019-20 school year.

He earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and American studies from Skidmore College, a master's degree in elementary education and a Sixth-Year Diploma in educational administration and supervision from the University of Bridgeport. He is certified by the Connecticut State Department of Education in PreK-6 Elementary Education (CT 013) and Intermediate Administration or Supervision (CT 092).

Jeanette Christian, Assistant Dir., Tech Integration and Online Assessment

Christian has served as teacher on special assignment for technology since 2022. Before joining the central office, she was a technology integration support specialist at Northeast Elementary, school library media specialist at Toquam Magnet Elementary and Hart Magnet Elementary, and previously taught sixth-grade science, reading and language arts at James A. Farley Middle School in Stony Point, NY, and sixth-grade science at Monticello Middle School in Monticello, NY.

She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the State University of New York at Oswego, a master's degree in instructional technology from the New York Institute of Technology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is certified by the Connecticut State Department of Education in preK-6 elementary education (CT 013), school library media specialist (CT 062) and intermediate administration or supervision (CT 092).

Adam Scianna, Assistant Director, Pathways and Career Technical Education

Scianna joined the Teaching & Learning Department in 2024 from Stamford High School, where he taught mathematics from 2011 to 2018 and served as director of the Early College Studies program from 2018 to 2024. The Early College Studies program is a partnership between SHS and CT State Community College Norwalk that enables students to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree in computer science.

He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Sixth-Year Diploma in educational administration and supervision from the University of Bridgeport. He is certified by the Connecticut State Department of Education in grades 4-12 mathematics (CT 029), grades preK-12 technology education (CT 047) and K-12 intermediate administration or supervision (CT 092).
