Performing Arts Camp (Ages 6-14) Week Of July 9

This exciting, fun and highly charged summer program is being offered for children ages 6-12yrs old. Mornings will consist of exciting Acting/Theater classes and Movement. The acting classes consist of creative theater games, concentration exercises, voice & speech work and structured improvisation to improve performance. Other topics include: monologue work, acting terminology, stage skills, script work and more!. These classes help students build confidence and inspire their imagination in a fun & supportive environment! The movement classes include high energy movement to musical theater music. The afternoons will consist of rehearsals that will culminate with an end of the week performance for family &friends, Friday at 1:30pm!

Animation Flex (Ages 7-13) Week of July 2

Bring everyday objects to life using the magic of stop-motion! Create multiple stop motion movies using every-thing from toy cars to white boards. It's the ultimate arts and crafts camp where you create, direct, and film your movies in age-appropriate groups.

Minecraft Movie Flex (Ages 7-13) July 5 & 6

You love Minecraft! Let your imagination be your guide as you turn the popular video game into an exciting Minecraft movie. Using stop-motion animation you will bring Steve, the creepers, animals and more to life. Students will write, storyboard, shoot and add voice-over in age-appropriate groups.

Action Movie Flex (Ages 7-13) Week of July 30

Use green screen, camera tricks, & special FX to create an action-packed live-action adventure movie! Collaborate with your group as you write, act, & direct in this INCREDIBLY exciting camp where you'll be taught Hollywood stunts to thrill the entire audience.

Action Movie & Imagination Flix Full Day Camp (Ages 7-13) Week of July 30

In the mornings create action-packed live- action adventure movies and in the afternoons create clay stop-motion movies. It’s a green screen adventure both mornings and afternoons!

Special FX Filmmaking (Ages 8-10) Week of July 16

Learn filmmaking by doing. Filmmakers Ink instructors will help you collaborate with your filmmaking tribe to develop an idea for a film, then, write, produce, shoot and direct a 5-7 minute movie together with an experienced filmmaker using Special FX and Green Screen! Screen a rough cut of your movie for family and friends at your Premiere on the final day of film camp!

Film Making/Acting Intensive (Ages 11-14) Week of July 16

Learn the process of making good films, fast. Professional filmmakers will help each young filmmaker begin to develop the filmmaking instincts needed to direct, capture the right footage and run the set. Experience the moviemaking process from script writing and storyboarding, through pre-production and filming. Everyone will develop scripts, and work in each of the main crew positions, includ- ing Director, 1st AD (Assistant Director), DP (Director of Photography), Gaffer (Lighting) and Boom Operator (Sound), while practicing the collaboration skills necessary to make movies with your film tribe.
