KIDS host PANCAKE BREAKFAST TO END WORLD HUNGER
A group of elementary school children at Long Ridge School in Stamford are passionate about putting an end to hunger. They know 1 out of 5 kids go to bed hungry and are out to make a difference. This impressive group of kids put together a pancake breakfast on Saturday, February 11, with the help of food donations from local stores (Scott's Corner Market, Parkway Diner, Cafe OoLaLa, and Rye Ridge Deli). They proudly seated and took orders from all their patrons. They also provided balloon & bracelet making. Over $1000 was raised and will go toward our “Feed My Starving Children” event this fall.
