Brian Kinahan, Joseph Tarzia Join First County Bank as Mortgage Loan Originators

The two Stamford residents join First County's expanding mortgage division.

First County Bank has announced that Brian Kinahan and Joseph Tarzia have joined the bank’s Residential Lending division as mortgage loan originators.

“With the addition of Brian and Joe, First County Bank demonstrates its commitment to our customers in the area of residential mortgage lending,” Reyno Giallongo, First County Bank’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “Brian and Joe bring solid backgrounds of residential mortgage lending through their years of experience in mortgage banking. They have knowledge in all aspects of mortgage origination for home purchase, first time buyers, refinance and construction lending.”

Kinahan is responsible for working with a network of real estate, financial, and building professionals throughout Connecticut. Prior to joining First County Bank, Kinahan was a mortgage broker in Darien. A Stamford resident, Kinahan received his B.S. degree in Corporate Communications from Nichols College.

Tarzia has more than 10 years of mortgage experience. The lifelong Stamford resident began his career in the mortgage broker business and later transitioned into retail mortgage banking with some of the nation’s leading lending institutions. Tarzia, who enjoys home renovation projects, enjoys the building process and assisting borrowers with their own financial needs for a renovation.
