Fatal Stamford Crash Victims Identified

Two young men were killed in an early Saturday crash, according to police.

STAMFORD, CT —Police have identified the victims of a Saturday crash on Hope Street that killed two people.

Lucas Salem, 20, and Thomas Molgano, 20, were killed after Molgano lost control of his pickup truck and struck a tree.

Salam graduated from Trinity Catholic High School and Molgano was a Stamford High School graduate, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Molgano crashed as the road curved near Barnstable Lane, police said.

There have been four fatal accidents on all of Hope Street in the past 16 years, according to the Advocate.
