Hillary Clinton to Campaign in CT Before Primary

President Bill Clinton also is coming to Westport this month for a fundraiser for his wife.

STAMFORD, CT - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will campaign in Stamford at a private fundraising event on April 24, two days before the April 26 Connecticut primary, reports the Connecticut Post.

The location of the event was not disclosed, but Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman are expected to attend, as are the state's two senators, Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, and all of the state's five members of Congress.

Before Hillary Clinton's visit, her husband, President Bill Clinton, is scheduled to attend a private fundraiser in Westport on April 21, reports Westport Now.

Cost of the limited number of tickets for the president's event ranged from $1,000 to $10,000.

Republican candidate John Kasich, currently in third place among the remaining GOP candidates, will be at Sacred Heart University today, April 8, for a town hall event.
