According to police, a large crowd had gathered on Alden Street the night of the incident when a heated argument broke out between several people. The incident ended with Quintero being violently pushed to the ground, where he struck his head, resulting in a subdural hematoma, police said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the cause of death to be blunt impact injury of the head, police said.
