A 44-year-old man is accused of coming to Stamford daily to sell drugs, police said.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford police said they seized a large amount of drugs and arrested a New York City man last week following a brief investigation.
Anthony Rivera, 44, of the Bronx, N.Y., was charged with multiple counts of possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, Assistant Stamford Police Chief Richard Conklin said.
The Stamford Police Department's Narcotics & Organized Crime Squad conducted an investigation after receiving information that Rivera was coming to Stamford daily in a red Mitsubishi to sell drugs in the West Side area, Conklin said.

A search of Rivera's car found 42 Ziploc bags of crack cocaine weighing approximately 24 grams, six "folds" of fentanyl and 19 bags of marijuana, Conklin added. Police also seized $567 in cash and a cell phone.
"[Rivera] has a very lengthy criminal history in New York, to include, but not limited to, convictions for manslaughter and robberies," Conklin said.
