The conference title and all the panel titles are tributes to the late Warren Zevon, who some consider one of the most literate of rock and roll song writers, and who had a special love of mysteries and thrillers. Speakers include Hallie Ephron, Chris Knopf, Peter Blauner, Jane Cleland, Norman Bloch, Anthony Franze, Ron Goldstark, and Michael Sears. Also, forensics experts, Michelle Clark, Medicolegal Death Investigator for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s in Connecticut, and Lieutenant Joseph Rainone, the Forensic Division Commander at the Waterbury Police Department, will talk all things lethal weapons.

Panel discussions, interviews with celebrity authors and legal experts, book signings and audience participation are included in this action-packed day.
