“This is very exciting news,” China Pavilion’s manager Jessie Zhang said in a statement. “We sold a $1,000,000 winning ticket before, but that was a scratch ticket. Two $1,000,000 prizes sold at one location … that’s real lucky!”
For selling the Jan. 21 $1 million winning ticket, China Pavilion Variety will receive a $2,500 check from the CT Lottery just like the three other Stamford retailers when they sold Powerball Match 5 winning tickets: Track News & Variety, Glenbrook General Store, and Shippan Candies.
