Man Hit By CTTransit Bus In Stamford: Police
Police said a man suffered "serious and possibly life-threatening" injuries after getting hit by a bus late Thursday afternoon.
STAMFORD, CT — A 54-year-old man was seriously injured after getting hit by a CTTransit bus in Stamford late Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The man, who is a Stamford resident, suffered "serious and possibly life-threatening" injuries, police said, noting he's currently listed in critical condition at Stamford Hospital.
The crash occurred Thursday at approximately 4:55 p.m. on Glenbrook Road just before East Main Street, police said.

"The initial investigation indicates that the pedestrian may have fallen from the sidewalk and into the path of the bus, but, all aspects of the collision are being investigated," police said in a news release Thursday night.
The bus driver immediately called for emergency assistance, police said, and he was interviewed by investigators.
