Nighttime Seatbelt Enforcement Effort Launched By Stamford PD
It's an extension of the national "Click It or Ticket" campaign.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department is teaming up with other Connecticut law enforcement agencies to look for nighttime drivers who are not using their seatbelts, the department announced on its Facebook page.
The enforcement campaign, an extension of the national "Click It or Ticket" effort, began on May 4 and runs through May 18.
"Nighttime seatbelt use is a priority for us," said James P. Redeker, Commissioner of the state Department of Transportation in a statement. "The percentage of unrestrained deaths in the United States is highest at night. Increasing seat belt usage among occupants who are traveling in the evening could substantially decrease fatality rates."
