Notable Stamford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is Under New Management

The Regency Heights of Stamford nursing and rehabilitation center is under new management and is being rebranded as Cassena Care at Stamford. As part of the management shift, Cassena Care at Stamford has completed numerous renovations to improve the facility that already had a 40-year history as a skilled nursing inpatient facility and maintained a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the past eight years. State Senator Bob Duff, United States Army Veteran Archie Elam, area medical professionals and other distinguished guests recently joined the facility’s staff for an open house, welcoming the community to tour the newly renovated portions of the facility.

“Cassena Care’s mission is to continuously provide our patients with the highest quality of care possible and create a comforting environment as they go through the healing and rehabilitation process,” said Gregg Seidner, Managing Partner of Cassena Care at Stamford. “We could not be more proud of the work done to improve this already exemplary nursing facility which has served the Stamford community for more than four decades. Every improvement made reflects our commitment to put the needs of our patients first.”

As part of the first phase of renovations, Cassena Care at Stamford received a new rehabilitation gym stocked with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and a completely renovated main lobby, dining room, nursing station and administrative offices. In addition, many of the facility’s semi-private rooms on the first and second floors have been converted to private rooms, providing an added convenience and comfort level to patients.

With the help of local elected officials and some of the area’s leading medical professionals, Cassena Care at Stamford opened its doors to the community and provided the public with an inside look of the renewed accommodations. During the open house, those in attendance had an opportunity to tour the health and healing center, including a private room model.
