Both suspects face multiple drug and firearm charges and are due in court on October 1, giving Stamford residents a clearer picture of recent enforcement against alleged neighborhood dealing.
   

• Stamford football doubles last season's win total with dominant win over Bridgeport Central (ctpost.com) — Stamford High's football team rolled past Bridgeport Central 39–6 at home, improving to 2–1 and already doubling last year's win total. Players and coach Donny Panapada say the Black Knights' energy and defense are surging as they prepare for their first road test at Stratford next Friday, giving local fans reason to pay attention this fall.
