Shooting Death At Stamford Hotel Being Investigated As Homicide: PD
Stamford police were called to a hotel on Oct. 14 on a report of a shooting, the department said in a news release earlier this week.

STAMFORD, CT — The deadly shooting at a hotel in Stamford is being investigated as a homicide, Lt. Douglas Dieso of the Stamford Police Department confirmed with Patch.
Police were called to the Super 8 hotel on Grenhart Road in Stamford on a report of a shooting at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 14. Officers found Angel Samaniego, of Stamford, with a gunshot wound, the Stamford Police Department said in a news release earlier this week.
Samaniego was pronounced dead at the scene, police added.

An investigation is ongoing; futher information was not immediately available.
