Stamford Fire Department To Mark 23rd Anniversary Of 9/11

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Fire Department will hold its 9/11 memorial ceremony at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in front of the Woodside Fire Station located at 1620 Washington Blvd.

Washington Boulevard will be closed southbound at 6:30 p.m. in order to provide extra parking on the street and a viewing area for the ceremony in front of the 9/11 memorial.

"The ceremony promises to be both meaningful and impactful. We encourage you to extend the invitation to your family and friends," the SFD said in a news release.
