Stamford Resident Wins '$150K A Year For Life' From CT Lottery

The odds of winning are one in 3.3 million, according to the Connecticut Lottery. The winning ticket was purchased in Old Greenwich.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident recently hit it big thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident has won $150,000 a year for life from a scratch-off ticket purchased for $10 in Old Greenwich at the BP gas station, 1324 E. Putnam Ave.

According to the CT Lottery, there are just three $150,000 winners out of over 10 million tickets of the game.

"The $150,000 a year for life prize will be paid as $150,000 a year for life, with a guaranteed minimum total payout of $3,000,000, or as a one-time gross cash option payment of $3,300,000," the CT Lottery website says.
