The teen, who was 18 when shot and killed on Saturday, was involved in the case of former teacher Danielle Watkins, of Norwalk.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Stamford resident Shane Slinsky, 18, who was shot and killed in Bridgeport on Saturday, was one of two students involved in the Stamford High School sex case of former teacher Danielle Watkins, according to a newspaper report.
Slinsky was shot twice in the head, in what police said appears to have been a drug deal gone wrong. The case remains under investigation.
John Nickerson of the Connecticut Post writes that Slinsky was a 15-year-old Stamford High student when he was friends with another student who was having an illicit affair with Watkins. The student with whom Watkins had the affair was not named, but Slinsky, the other student and Watkins reportedly hung out together and smoked marijuana.
