Stamford Woman Reported To Be Among the Missing in Nepal
The 60-year-old city native was reported missing by her sister.

A 60-year-old Stamford woman reportedly is among the missing after the deadly 7.8-magnitude earthquake shook Nepal over the weekend, leaving more than 3,800 dead and others unaccounted for.
Jennifer Cushman, who is originially from Stamford and now a New York City resident, has been registered through the International Committee of the Red Cross as a missing person in Nepal, according to NBC Connecticut.
Jennifer Cushman was reported missing by her sister Amanda Cushman of Old Lyme. Amanda Cushman reportedly said her sister was last reported to be in the capital city of Kathmandu, but that she was scheduled to leave the morning of April 25 to visit a nature preserve. She is hoping that Jennifer is stranded in the countryside where there isn’t any access to communications.
