Suspect in Stamford Fatal Stabbing Pleads Not Guilty
Two of the three suspects charged with the March murder make court appearance.

One of the two suspects charged in connection with the fatal beating and stabbing of a man at busy downtown intersection, has pleaded not guilty to murder.
Marquest Hall, 15, of Stamford, and James McLamb, 22, of New Haven, two of the three suspects arrested in connection with the March 11 murder of a Guatemalan immigrant who bumped into the teen as he walked out of the McDonald’s on Bedford Street, appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford on Thursday, according to The Advocate.
McLamb’s public defender, Howard Ehring, filed a not guilty plea. Hall and his attorney, Ryan O’Neill, asked for a continuance of the proceeding, according to the newspaper.

The suspects, who are being held in lieu of $2 million bond each, are scheduled to return to court on May 28, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website. A 17-year-old Stamford boy is facing a hindering prosecution charge in connection with the case.
Antonio Muralles, 52, died from a stab wound to the heart. Stamford Police have said Muralles, an immigrant from Guatemala who worked for Green Mountain Coffee in Norwalk, was attacked even though he apologized after accidentally spilling coffee onto Hall when he walked out of McDonald’s at the corner of Bedford and Broad streets.
