Swastikas Found Spray-Painted On Former Stamford Jewish Center Building: Police

Cans of spray paint were found nearby in a brushy area, police said.

STAMFORD, CT — Swastikas were found earlier this week spray-painted on the side of a vacant building that formerly housed the Stamford Jewish Center, according to police.

A contractor working on the building at 132 Prospect St. discovered the graffiti and reported it to police at around 12:30 p.m. on March 24, Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin said.

Cans of spray paint were found nearby in a brushy area, Conklin added, noting the graffiti was on the left side of the building in an alleyway somewhat hidden from cameras.
