Tractor-Trailer Crash Closes Road In Stamford: Police

STAMFORD, CT — A tractor-trailer rolled over on Oaklawn Avenue in Stamford Monday, prompting a road closure, according to police.

Sgt. Jeffrey Booth of the Stamford Police Department told Patch a call came in reporting the crash at 9:40 a.m.

No injuries were reported, Booth said, noting the SPD Patrol Division is investigating.

Booth said speed around a curve in the roadway might have played a factor. Crews are currently working to flip the truck back over before it can be towed away and the road can be reopened.
