2 Bank Of America Branches Set To Close In Mystic: Report

Following a recent announcement, Bank of America will be closing both of its Mystic locations this year.

MYSTIC, CT — Following a recent announcement, Bank of America will be closing both of its Mystic locations on May 15, the New London Day reported. The bank has two locations in the city, one located W. Main Street and the other on Williams Avenue.

According to the Day, the West Main Street financial center building is owned by Bank of America and is set to go up for sale. Bank officials said the small Williams Avenue location is an "autobank," and the ATM leased there from Shoreline Branches LLC will remain open.

Bank officials said the decision to close both Mystic locations is mainly due to an increase in customers using online and mobile banking, according to the Day.
