Battle Of Softball Super Powers Today In Stonington

Call it the unstoppable force versus the immovable object.

Today at 4 p.m. in Stonington, the Waterford High School softball team will take on the Stonington Bears in the last game of the regular season. On the mound for Stonington, the dominant Andrea Chiaradio.

Stonington comes into the game with a 17-3 record, and the Bears have won seven games in a row. But the real story is Chiaradio, who in one game against Norwich Free Academy not only pitched a perfect game, but 

Chiaradio has had games like that all season, and she even prevented local  to raise money for the Ledyard Animal Control’s Autumn Fund.
