After paying their bill to Connecticut Light & Power power was restored to the Ramada Mystic Hotel Friday afternoon.
CL&P spokesman Mitch Gross said the bill was paid in full and power was turned back around 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2011.
The Ramada Hotel closed Thursday evening when CL&P once to the hotel after the hotel failed to pay their bill. The closing of the hotel displaced several guests, interrupted the production of a movie and delayed the opening of a restaurant.

The titled Remains and based on horror writer Steve Niles’s graphic novel, was being filmed in the Ramada and in Norwich.
Savin Rock Roasting Company, which adjoins the Ramada had hoped to open on Monday, June 20 but Friday morning General Manager Keith McDonald said that had been delayed as the restaurant postponed training and scrambled to find storage for $10,000 worth of food.

The troubled Ramada filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year and in December of 2010 CL&P cut off power to the hotel due to thousands of dollars in outstanding bills. The hotel remained open, powered by a generator until Dec. 28, 2011, when the due to safety concerns.
