The Cocktail Challenge

Hosted by The Westerly-Pawcatuck Young Professionals Network to benefit Opening Doors for Westerly's Children

The Westerly-Pawcatuck Young Professionals Network is set to host for the second year The Cocktail Challenge on November 16th from 4pm-7pm at The Knickerbocker in Westerly, RI. Ten local Westerly restaurants/bars will be featured for their inventive and creative cocktails in this battle of the bars. Guests can sample ten cocktails and get to vote on their favorite. Four finalists will move to Round 2 where they will have to think on their feet and create a cocktail from mystery ingredients. Two awards will be presented, the Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice. Guests will also be able to nosh on local food, enter to win raffle prizes, and enjoy live music by Thor Jensen Trio.

The fundraiser is to benefit Opening Doors for Westerly’s Children an initiative of United Way of Rhode Island. All proceeds go to an education fund that will provide school supplies, books, and scholarships to help low-income Westerly students at the Tower Street School Center gain access to educational summer programs.

The Westerly Pawcatuck Young Professionals Network is an initiative of the Greater Westerly Pawcatuck Area Chamber of Commerce. This event is being sponsored by MS Walker, Eat Drink RI, and The Knickerbocker. Only 200 tickets will be sold.
