On Saturday, October 5th,
fashion, food and cocktails will all combine to benefit the Stonington Community Center
at COMO After Hours, an evening chock full of fashion and fun at the Velvet
Mill in Stonington Borough. The event takes place from 7pm-11pm and will
feature the incredible culinary creations of Octagon Steakhouse, presenting a
Fire & Ice themed menu. In addition to tastings, there will be libations
from local wineries, breweries and distilleries, including signature cocktails.
A fashion show will take place
during the event, highlighting the talent of local designers, including
Barrazza Style, Huxter, Susan Hickman and Toscano’s Men’s Shop. Hair and
make-up will be provided by Antonio’s Hair Design and jewelry is courtesy of
Simply Majestic, both of Mystic. High energy entertainment will be supplied by
DJs Newsflash, #Dagyo, and Kid Igloo.
Tickets are $50 in advance, and
$60 at the door. Each ticket-holder receives two drink tickets and a gift bag
