2. The ’s Kim Hargarve will lead a . The and the Avalonia Land Conservancy are co-sponsoring a morning of pond dipping at Avalonia’s Pine Swamp Wildlife Corridor (PSWC) property in Ledyard on May 5. Participants will get to hike to some ponds, and use nets to collect frogs, fish and bugs, the press release says. And not to worry, they'll be returned to the pond! 3. Calling all artists! The are looking for local artists to help create the organizations 2012 Holiday Collection. Artists are welcome to submit artwork, photographic designs for holiday cards, candle wrap or ornaments that will be sold by Dana Farber as a fundraiser. Artists who wish to participate should email their designs in .jpg format to holiday_orders@dfci.harvard.edu. Please include artist name, e-mail, and phone number with the submission. The deadline to send in all designs is May 15.
