Deviant Donuts To Launch Promotion For Garden Arts Center

This Thursday, November 5th through Sunday, November 8th, Deviant Donuts will be donating a dollar of each donut purchase to support the programming and functions of the Garde Arts Center in New London. As part of the promotion, Deviant Donuts will feature specialty donuts inspired by popular musicals.

“The Garde Arts Center is at the heart of southeastern Connecticut’s cultural and theatrical community,”

said Stefan Ambrosch, owner of Deviant Donuts. “We were proud to run a similar promotion for the Mystic Aquarium earlier this year, and we are proud to support our friends at the Garde Arts Center this weekend.”

Each specialty donut was designed by Deviant Donuts bakers and artists and features creative designs from famous musicals. Examples include:

· Little Shop of Horrors (Vegan) - Matcha glazed donut rimmed with Oreos and decorated like Audrey 2.

· Phantom of the Opera (Gluten-Sensitive) -

Black and White glazed chocolate cake donut and garnished with a Phantom mask and red roses.

· Hairspray - Brioche filled with chocolate mousse, dipped in white chocolate ganache and decorated to look like Tracy Turnblad’s hairdo.

“We have a fantastic community that is truly interested in supporting artists and our venues during these difficult times,” said Jeanne Sigel, Marketing and Development Director at the Garde Arts Center. “We are thankful that Deviant Donuts is not only lending support, but also raising awareness of the impact that the pandemic has had on our arts community.”

Donuts will be available for pre-order online at deviantdonuts.com or in-store. Deviant Donut asks all guests to observe 6 feet of social distancing, and properly wear masks in the store.
