Driver Issued Infraction In North Stonington School Bus Crash
A teen was issued a traffic infraction after a car struck a bus carrying elementary school students Monday morning, according to a report.
NORTH STONINGTON, CT — A 19-year-old driver suffered minor injuries and was issued an infraction following a crash with a school bus Monday morning, The Day reported.
The accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. in front of North Stonington Elementary School on Route 2.
There were 30 children on the bus at the time, WTNH News-8 reported. There were no injuries but six students and the bus driver were transported to a local hospital to be checked as a precaution.

The driver was issued an infraction for failure to stay in his lane. He told police that sun glare had blinded him as he was driving, according to The Day.
The bus was making a left turn into the school when the car hit the bus head-on, WTNH News-8 reported.
