East Lyme Touch-a-Truck To Offer Free Photos To Remember A Special Day
Free Photos sponsored by Crest Ford
This year, the Eighth Annual Touch-A-Truck, co-sponsored by the East Lyme Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency and the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McCook Point Park in Niantic. (Rain date is Sunday, May 17th.) Admission is $4 per person. Children age two and under are admitted free of charge.
The main event is, of course, trucks. However, don’t miss the Free Digital Photo Booth sponsored by Jim Leva, Dealer Principal of Crest Ford of Niantic. This year, the photo booth will again be offering a free, posed photo in the driver’s seat of a special “Touch-A-Truck Vehicle”. The children will also be encouraged to paint the vehicle with hand prints and brushes. In addition, the popular Crest Fort Horn will be available for “blaring” by the children.
Photos will be posted on the Facebook pages of Crest Ford of Niantic and Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. Parents will then be able to share, tag, or download these photos to the “Social Square”. People can also choose to have the photos e-mailed to them or mailed if they do not have access to a computer.
