Fatal Boat Crash for Stonington Fisherman Spurs Federal Investigation
The US Coast Guard has asked the Providence US attorney's office to take another look at the case.

A Rhode island boat crash that killed a Stonington fisherman in September is being reviewed by federal prosecutors for possible criminal charges, Fox 61 reported.
Walter Krupinski, 80, was killed when a 60 foot yacht crashed into his 23 foot boat, according to Fox 61. The yacht was operated by Cooper Bacon, 76, of New Jersey.
Bacon has pleaded not guilty on multiple navigation violations, Fox 61 reported. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management meanwhile claimed Cooper should have done more to avoid the crash.
